Let’s make it a Wet ‘n’ Wild Experience with this Waterfalls combo. Take an adventurous trip into the hills of St Ann to the untamed Blue Hole and later make our way back to the commercialized Dunns River.
Your tour begins directly from your hotel. Travel in air-conditioned comfort on this 2-hour journey into the hills of Ocho Rios. En route, your knowledgeable driver/tour guide will highlight different points of interest, while entertaining you with both humorous anecdotes and commentary. On reaching the blue hole, you will be introduced to your professional tour guide who will take you through your own custom tour. Each guide has his own unique style and will tailor make a tour just for you and your group’s need. The falls have several different levels and you have the option to walk or jump your way down once you get to the top. There are several places to jump from and swim in. Not up for the climb? No problem mon! you can view them from the side and take pictures.
The fun continues as we take a 30-minute drive over to the more popular waterfall, Dunns River is undoubtedly the most famous attraction in Jamaica and is known for its 600 feet water climb. Enjoy the cool plunge into pools formed naturally in the river rocks and the waterfalls which are gently in some places and thunderous in others. There is also a section where you can go down a natural slide and submerge yourself at the bottom. Activities at Dunns River include climbing the falls, enjoying the rich flora and manicured lawns and relaxing on the beach. For those who wish to climb the falls, you will need to follow a path and stairways down to the base of the falls. You can climb on your own or with the help of an experienced guide. The climb is between 1 to 1.5 hour depending on your ability and comfort level.
After the falls, we make our way over to Scotchies where you can try out our famous jerk chicken or pork (cost of lunch not included). After lunch, you can choose to go souvenir shopping before heading back to your hotel or cruise ship.
